One Response to “Peter Rothermel (1817 – 1895)”

  1. Peter is an Ancestor of mine. I love all of his works, he was a gifted man who lived in a time he was fortunate to be able to capture the moments for us to feel through his art. The Pennsylvania Museum of Natural History has a great exhibit of his Battle of Gettysburg works, it’s an incredible collection and a must see. Thank you for this posting and God Bless America.
