Love The Pasha’s Favourite

This painting was originally titled “Scheherazade Telling A Tale To The Calif”. However the work was executed during Jacob’s Greek period, so Scheherazade soon became Kira Vassiliki, a Greek girl who joined the Ali Pasha’s harem at a young age winning the favour of this powerful governor.
