I watched both the first and the second series of paintings of this artist. He must have worked hard.
Maybe he was self-taught, and his way of painting, it seems to me that he belonged to the naive painters.
The body parts of the people portrayed, especially heads, are a bit out of proportion to the body. Also the faces, especially on the right side (left for those who observes), show a jaw rather deformed. From the psychological point of view, these particular irregular give to the individuals depicted a very unhappy expression. However, in its kind, he seems like a painter passable and very creative. I personally prefer those of his paintings that show the views of fantastic landscapes.

Heh, this painter’s portraiture is so bad at times that his work advances to the level of “campy” and becomes something to treasure and enjoy! His “Lincoln and his Generals” is truly bizarre. The heads look like they were photoshopped onto the bodies! That one is a keeper. 🙂
