One Response to “Edwin Lord Weeks (1849 – 1903)”

Very interesting these realistic paintings on the places and customs of Morocco at that time. I find very beautiful and spacious the skies, which highlight and sometimes bring into contrast, the arid land and the humidity of small streams or the sea expance, as well as the teeming life that characterizes, yesterday as today, the small markets of the towns. I really like the painting ‘The Camel Transport’. But I would say that I admire all other paintings that this painter has realizate.
