From what is shown here, it seems to me that Polowetski was a decent painter. I personally find the painting “The Vacationer” the best of the series: a moment of pure relaxation in a large park (or a clearing in the woods). A girl who reads, quiet, under a beautiful tree, through whose branches, it seems to see pass the air. A true breath of nature, which appears much broader for the depth of the space, which the painter has been able to dispose.
