One Response to “Howard Lyon”

There’s an interesting dichotomy about this painter, as demonstrated at his web site. Go to http://www.howardlyon.com/ and see what I mean.

On the left, you have Howard Lyon, Fine Art. Click here for “Gethsemane” and other religious paintings that he has done.

On the right, you have Howard Lyon, Illustration. Click here for works along the lines of “World of Warcraft.”

The man has to make a living, I’m sure, but perhaps he does not view certain illustrative money-makers as fine art and therefore keeps them carefully separated. How else to reconcile “Gladiator” with “The Herald Angels” in his heart and soul?

No matter which way you click, though, his talent is quite apparent.
