Beautiful the sea scenes and the waiting of the return of fishing boats. And exceptional seem to me the effect of the wet sand. In “Waiting for the fleet” and “Bringing in the fish” seem nearly to hear the splashing of the water. I find very interesting also the simple scenes of the eat in kitchen room, and so the landscapes.
At my opinion Hardwick has been a excellent painter.
