Competent painter and each of the canvases shown above are well painted.If there is something to regret it would have to be the fact that he worked in too many divergent genres under heavy influence of more prominent artists.Still- “June” is such a lush, successful nude.Impressionism believed in golden light,purple shadows and green reflected light.It is all dutifully there.
