    Two saved here:

‘The Cardinal’s Portrait’ – the artist’s head scratching is amusing but what got me was the contrast between the slumbering real cardinal and the vibrant (i.e., wide-awake) portrayed cardinal.

‘His Madonna’ – this is what really caught my eye in this post, the statue seeming to reach out to the boy, blessing him as he works. Really fine stuff.

This fellow had whimsy, that’s for sure.

    Firstly – a great site!
We want to make a printing for our musical family of “Bach with Family Morning Devotion” by Toby Rosenthal. Is there a way we could purchase a print of this painting?

    Thanxx…
