  1. great site. are you looking for LIVING artist for your site? If so, how does one submitt to the site for inclusion in your gallery of living artist?
    thanks so much.
    PS.
I love joaquin sorrolla, and I am surprised you do not have him. Spanish artist, turn of the century, beautiful figurative work.

This is not an art gallery, but only a personal blog. In order to be linked here all is needed is my appreciation and liking.
American Gallery is subtitled Greatest American Painters. Joaquin Sorolla was a Spanish painter.

      • Dear Suzay,
This is a wonderful page/site or whatever it should be called. Just the sort of place to show off art. I have an interest in 19th century artists whose work is, to my eye, particularly interesting–Robert Salmon, Samuel Peter Rolf Triscott, Hendricks Hallett, Harold Dunbar to name a few. I wonder how to get their images/info to your site.

        Regards,

        John Hutchinson

PS do you know of a site The Atheneum full of exampls of 19th century artists’ work.
